Great mom and pops shop. It’s family owned and really feels like you’re family there. We came in with a few Stetsons to get ready for a parade in New Jersey and they took care of us immediately! Thank you can’t wait to come back

Honestly I thought this was a dead trade after we the US. Army went to suede boots. Back in the 90s boot repair shops had more black GI boots than civilian shoes. From GA to LA, my jungle boots always had a good walking sole.
This is the second pair of boots I have done here. The first were for my Sons . I was so taken back on how good they looked I had my suede boots done. And let me tell you SPEEDY FAST. I was impressed and felt obligated to tip, and I sure did.
Good work and honest customer service is dying friends. With the help of "Yelp" we can bring our home town mom and pop shops business.

And like I always say "keep your money local"

In my opinion, this is the only legitimate shoe repair shop in Killeen full stop. All these cleaners advertise they do shoe and boot repair, but in reality they do not do anything unless it's super easy and could be done by yourself.

Thank you for fixing our shoes for such an affordable cost!

The strap on one of my favorite wedge heels was broken by my sister-in-law (grrrrrr...) and so I decided to try out Tharpe's because of their good ratings. I was not disappointed! The lady at the counter is very sweet and friendly. They did the work in about a week (they're very busy, so that's actually not bad) and it cost about $8. He didn't just replace the strap on the one shoe, though, he replaced the straps on both because he wanted them to match and the elastic he uses is three times stronger. I call that going above and beyond normal customer service. I am one happy shoe-lover!

The people at Tharpe's are wonderful! They are quick and conscientious and do a great job in repairing boots and shoes. I have brought belts and shoes that needed extra holes put in, and they don't even charge me. But I bring them as much business as possible as a thank you. Support your local stores!

Just had new soles & heels put on a pair of Justin boots. $45 can't be beat! I have used these folks a few times over the years, and probably more but their work lasts forever it seems! Tharpes & Hanks Western Wear used to be my favorite places downtown, oh and Modern TV & Appliance. Patronize Tharpe's y'all! They do excellent work, for a bargain price...and they sell great leather products & boots as well! Small business is what made this country...and Tharpes is a perfect example!

We came from Ohio with a purse that was falling apart. The straps were shredding where they attached to the purse body. We had looked on Facebook and through Google and could not find any place close to Belton, Texas. We found a seamstress named Tina in Killeen, Texas who said she could not fix it because her sewing machine would not handle the thickness of leather. However she graciously recommended Tharpe’s and I was extremely pleased. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking repairs. And the people that work there were very, very nice.

I had never had my shoes repaired but my favorite pair of heels was slowly crapping out on me. I love them so much I wear them for work and formal events and no other heels fit me quite as well.

I came here and every worker was smiling and happy to see me and the cashier made sure that it was a repair they could make. I left feeling very assured and happy! It's just a pair of shoes, but a lady can do anything with a great pair of heels!

They said my shoes might take till the end of the week or beginning of next. Not a problem. Then I was SO EXCITED when they called me the very next morning saying my shoes were ready! If you need your shoes fixed. Go here.
